About Not Quite Grown Life

nice to meet you

Not Quite Grown Life: Parenting Teens, Family Life, and Growing Together

Not Quite Grown Life came from the simple truth that none of us really feel like we have it all figured out. We thought by now adulthood would look a certain way, but life keeps proving it is more about learning as we go. We share stories, thoughts, and laughter about the moments that show how much growing we are all still doing, no matter our age. This space is for connection, honesty, and finding comfort in knowing we are not alone. Together we can admit we are still figuring it out and that is more than okay.

The idea grew out of the reality of raising kids while still learning how to be grown ourselves. It comes from the perspective of a single parent in a small town, balancing home, family, and all the pieces of life that never seem to fit as neatly as we expected. This space is about the struggles and the laughter, the quiet moments and the loud ones, and the journey of figuring things out while guiding children who are still finding their own way. It is honest, imperfect, and written for anyone who feels the same.

Why We’re Here

Sharing the Real Side of Parenting, Small-Town Living, and Growing Right Alongside Our Kids

The heart of Not Quite Grown Life is simple. It’s sharing what it really feels like to raise kids while still growing ourselves. This isn’t about perfection or polished advice. It’s about honesty, laughter, and connection through the ups and downs of parenting, small-town living, and building a life on our own terms. The goal is to remind anyone who stops here that they’re not alone, and that figuring it out as we go is more than enough.
